is responsible for the processing of the personal data described below.
2) What is your personal data used for?
We only collect, process and use your personal data with your consent, in order to fulfil a contract or pre-contractual measures, for the purposes of our legitimate interests, or if a legal obligation or permission exists. We only collect, process and use this personal data insofar as this is necessary to carry out and execute our services.
If your consent is required to process and/or use your data, then we only do so after receiving your express authorization. By giving your consent, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old or that you have the permission of your legal guardian. You can revoke your consent at any time.
Your data is only stored in a personalized form as long as it is required for the purpose for which it is being processed or until the relevant guarantee, warranty, limitation and legal retention periods have expired.
2.1) Use for contract performance (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR)
The personal data you have provided for the purpose of a contract performance (e.g. sales or service contract), in particular your name, address, telephone number and bank details – which are required only to fulfil the existing contractual relationship – are collected and processed on the basis of statutory entitlements in fulfilment of the contract. Should the data required to conclude the contract not be provided, the contract cannot be concluded.

2.2.1) Subscribing to the newsletter (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR)
The personal data you provided when subscribing to the W&H Group newsletter is only used to send you the newsletter via email in a personalized manner, unless you provide your express consent for this data to be used otherwise. You must have explicitly consented to the mailing through the ‘double opt-in’ process.
2.2.2) Use of contact and price requests (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR)
The personal data you provided specifically pertaining to contact or price requests is only used to process these requests, unless you provide your express consent for this data to be used otherwise. We only pass your data on to third parties – for example, W&H Group subsidiaries (W&H Dentalwerk Bürmoos/Austria, subsidiaries) and the responsible sales partners – if it is required to carry out these tasks.
2.2.3) Use relating to competitions (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR)
The data you provided in the context of a W&H competition is only used for the competition process, unless you provide your express consent for this data to be used otherwise.
2.2.4) Subscribing to selected divisions and reports, and to the video channel (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR)
The personal data you provided when subscribing to selected divisions on the W&H homepage or video channel is only used to process these subscriptions, unless you provide your express consent for this data to be used otherwise. We only pass your data on to third parties – for example, W&H Group subsidiaries (W&H Dentalwerk Bürmoos/Austria, subsidiaries) – if it is required to carry out these tasks.
2.3) Use of applicant data (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR)
The data you send us during an application process is gathered and used to help fill to the respective position. Your personal applicant data is only passed on to employees who co-determine who will fill the position. Your personal applicant data will not be passed on to third parties or persons who are not involved in the decision-making process.

2.4) Processing for the purposes of our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR)
Your personal data is only processed on the basis of a legitimate interest of the Controller in certain situations. You will be informed appropriately in the relevant situation. For example, we have a legitimate interest in public and press relations, the presentation of our company’s activities and the furthering of our name recognition. This means that film and image material may be produced at our own selected events and published via social media channels or print media. You have the right to object to this processing at any time.
3) Categories of personal data
We do not collect, process or use special categories of personal data (sensitive data). Special categories of personal data include information related to racial and ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs or trade union membership, as well as the processing of genetic data, biometric data for the unique identification of a natural person, health data or data relating to sex life or sexual orientation.
We only process the personal data which you have provided on our website or which you have submitted to us through other channels, and we only use the data which is required to carry out and execute our services.
4) What are your rights?
You always have the right to information, correction, deletion, limitation of processing, data portability, revocation and objection.
If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates legal regulations, you have the right to complain to the data protection authority.

5) Deletion periods

Data used to perform a contract is stored as long as the contractual relationship is in place or until the guarantee, warranty, limitation and legal retention periods have expired.
Applicant data is held for up to six months after the application process is complete before being deleted, unless you provide your express consent for us to keep your applicant data on file for up to two years.
6) Who has access to your personal data?
Your data will not be forwarded to third parties unless this is necessary to fulfil the contractual relationship or pre-contract measures, or to answer questions. In these cases, your data is passed on to the relevant W&H Group subsidiaries (W&H Dentalwerk Bürmoos/Austria, subsidiaries), to the responsible sales partners or to our service providers.
7) How do we protect your personal data?
